Legally?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2009\/03\/31\/technology\/companies\/31music.html\" target=\"_blank\">project supported and backed by big music industry companies<\/a>,  including &#8220;Sony BMG Music Entertainment, EMI Group, Universal Music and the Warner Music Group&#8221;  <a href=\"www.google.cn\/music\/\" title=\"China Google Music\" target=\"_blank\">Google<\/a> has been  offering free music downloads for the Chinese markets. In light of the recent freedom attacking bills PIPA\/SOPA its interesting to see a different facet of the music industry.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a way to use a proxy in your web browser if you want to check the site out. This is for educational purposes only.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n1. Choose a proxy for china here &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/hidemyass.com\/proxy-list\/\" target=\"_blank\">LINK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Set your browser to use this new &#8220;Proxy Server&#8221; IP address. &#8211; You don&#8217;t have to do this on your regular browser. For example I just downloaded and used the instructions for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opera.com\/download\/\" title=\"Opera Download Page\" target=\"_blank\">Opera<\/a> so I wouldn&#8217;t need to mess with my normal browsers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mozilla Firefox: Tools > Options > Advanced > Settings > Manual proxy configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Google Chrome: Options > Under the hood > Network > Change proxy settings > LAN settings > Use a proxy server > Advanced > HTTP.<\/li>\n<li>Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet options > Connections > LAN settings > Use a proxy server > Advanced > HTTP.<\/li>\n<li>Opera: Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Go to this website. &#8211; <a href=\"www.google.cn\/music\/\" target=\"_blank\">LINK<\/a> and search for your favorite artist.
