How to Download Your Facebook Images (And the rest of your Info)

Facebook now lets you download and save all your photos, videos, posts on your wall, your messages, your friend list and other content you have shared on your profile in a single download.

To start this process follow these steps:

1. Log into Facebook

2. Click “Account” in the upper right and select “Account Settings”

3. Scroll down to where it reads “Download Your Information” and click “learn more”

4. Then click the green “Download” button.

They will then send you an email when they have packaged up your info. It took about 2 days for me to recieve their email.

This is a sample of the email you will receive:

You recently requested a download of your information on Facebook.

Your download has been generated and is now ready. Please follow the link below to download it. Remember that this file contains sensitive information. Because this download contains your profile information, you should keep it secure and take precautions when storing, sending or uploading it to any other services.
